Experience
I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. For almost two decades, I have taught kindergarten and grades 1-2. I have also tutored grades 3-4 in Math and Reading. I feel that tutoring children has its rewards. I have three kids who are 12, 14, and 17 years old.I work diligently to address my students' needs while helping them develop self-confidence in the process. I would like to teach grades K-5. As a tutor, I am very animated and centered on my students. I like to form a relationship with them because it helps to boost their confidence. Subjects I am familiar with include Reading, Writing, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, and preparation for the SSAT. When I have time to spare, I enjoy music and reading. It would be an enjoyable experience to work with your child.
